Sirajum Munira Joti is currently working as a lecturer of Center for Language Studies (CLS) at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Formerly, she worked as a lecturer in the English department at Metropolitan University. She used to teach MA in ELT courses along with English language course. Prior to that, she worked as the English Language Teaching Supervisor at ULAB English Zone. She has also completed two years of fellowship program at Teach For Bangladesh. As a teaching fellow, she used to teach in an underserved Govt. primary school while designing and executing low-income community projects to ensure a holistic learning environment for the students.
Her research areas include English Language Teaching (ELT), Classroom Pedagogy, Language Teaching Methodologies, Second Language Acquisition, Language Testing and Evaluation, Sociolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, English Language Policy, Materials Development and Evaluation.

- Presented paper titled “World Englishes in Periphery Classrooms: Reflections on Suresh Canagarajah’s Concerns” in Graduate Student Seminar at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
- Received recognition for Capstone projects on dropout prevention and “Talk the Talk: From Stage Fright to Spotlight” as one of the top 15 projects among 70+ community projects at Teach For Bangladesh Capstone Symposium 2022 & 2023.
